Kia ora koutou, ko Jasmine Horton taku ingoa. I am a graphic designer, artist, activist and māmā to my beautiful boy. I decided to start this page a while ago now and have slowly been working towards the designs and more importantly the kaupapa around it. I finally rested on the Everyday Activist name as that seems most fitting.

First and foremost I'm doing this because I never stop thinking about the things I'm passionate about, Aotearoa and the state of our world is always at the fore for me. I was politicised at a young age, mainly from being subjected to sexist, classest and racist belief systems and I had an amazing kaiako in high school who taught me about politics. I wanted to put my design skills to work and help support the issues I feel passioante about. What I hope to be able to do is donate some of the proceeds from the sales to charities that align with the cause and/or create and sell some of the designs of the more urgent issues at cost price, for no profit, just so people can get their hands on designs to wear everyday and at protests. I want to ensure products are made in NZ and are sustainably sourced and created as much as possible.
